During your time at university, you might be asked to produce different types of writing: an essay, a report, an outline, a term paper or, of course, your Bachelor or Master thesis (or also non-academic ones!). In this workshop we’ll look at different types of academic writing, their structure and features, focusing on what to keep in mind when composing them in English. Special attention will be paid to different text elements, such as introductions, thesis statement and conclusions, offering a range of appropriate vocabulary and phrasing suggestions.

This webinar is the second part of the Webinar Series Academic English. We highly recommend to participate in all three parts of the series. After successfully taking part of all three workshops, you will receive a certificate of attendance for the Workshop series Academic English.

The webinar will be held in English and it is suitable for students with English proficiency B2/C1.
