We’re going to take a closer look at examples of academic texts, focusing on strategies to unpick them step by step to simplify understanding. Doing so, we’ll also discuss vocabulary and phrases that are often used in academic writing. We’ll look at what text features make an English text an academic text or not and what to look out for when determining what are reliable academic sources in English.
