The International Office is dedicated to making a stay in Hamm and Lippstadt a valuable experience for foreign students. It is the contact point for guests for all issues concerning the organization of the studies. We want to promote a multinational and multicultural campus life, where everyone feels integrated. For this purpose, tandem and tutor programs as well as other services are being planned.
Coming to study in Germany from abroad is a brave step - and a challenging journey! International students have special concerns because they come from another country. That is why we at the International Office are here to help you with a wide range of issues, such as residence permits, financial support and experiences of discrimination. In addition, we provide information to prospective students from abroad, especially regarding the admission requirements for international students to study in Germany and at HSHL. Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences maintains a network of contacts with contact persons at universities and companies abroad. First co-operations with China, Brazil, Turkey, Poland and Austria are already established. New ones are continuously added.
