Creating equal opportunities for all genders is one central aspect of the gender equality measures done at the Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences. In order to achieve this objective, various measures are undertaken in the areas of women’s advancement and family friendliness in addition to offering information and events on gender equality.
It is the responsibility of the Equal Opportunities Officer to devise and implement gender equality-relevant measures. The Officer cooperates closely with the Presidential Committee and the Equal Opportunities Committee at multiple interfaces, is an advisory member on all governing bodies and committees at the University of Applied Sciences and integrally involved in shaping key control processes. This also includes consulting on recruitment procedures. She collaborates closely with the human resources department to implement these measures.
