Those who come to study in Germany may encounter a completely new culture with different values, communication and overall manners. Such differences can promote misunderstandings or even lead to frustration. However, experiences have shown, that becoming familiar with peculiarities of German culture and getting sensitized to differences at an early stage will make it easier to adjust to everyday life situations at the university.

Due to this the International Office invites you to participate in the intercultural training for international students. Here you will reflect on cultural characteristics and get to know more about the teaching and learning culture in Germany. Besides this, you can develop individual strategies for dealing with cultural confusions and understand the stages of a culture shock.

At the end of the training you will receive a certificate of participation.
