Job applications in Germany for international students

This seminar will provide an overview about the German labour market and the application process per se. One important focus is on developing a rewarding application strategy. For this, we will examine the dos and don’ts in German applications, using a variety of examples. In addition, we will discuss sample documents (CV, cover letter, etc.) to better understand what works well.
The role of AI, such as ChatGPT, in the application process will also be taken into consideration.
Course material will be provided.
The seminar will be held in English and will be hosted online via Zoom. A stable internet connection as well as audio and video functions are mandatory.

Dr. Vera Christoph, former Director of Amerika Haus München, and owner of c-trains Kulturvermittlung, has longtime experience in student counseling.
