Kickoff: Project "Orchard Meadow"

Would you like to experience the orchard meadow habitat up close?

In cooperation with the City of Hamm, HSHL has taken on the sponsorship of an orchard meadow next to the beach volleyball court at Friedensschule. In the future, students and staff from the university will carry out various activities there, such as maintaining the orchard, harvesting the fruit, installing nesting boxes, and implementing many other ecological measures.

This project is a great opportunity to explore this diverse habitat, get to know the local flora and fauna, as well as your fellow students and other members of the HSHL community, and to actively contribute to the university’s sustainability goals.
