The concept of allyship describes strategies with which privileged people can fight together with people who do not possess the same privileges. The digital workshops aims to tackle the following questions:
What does allyship mean? Where did the idea come from? Who can be ally with whom and why? How can I take responsibility for my privileges and share them? How can I ally with others?
The workshop provides an overview of various types of discrimination and privilege and encourages the participants to reflect on their own position. The workshop is run by Blu Doppe, educator and author.
The workshop can be held in German or English. We kindly ask you to specify which language you prefer for the workshop upon registration. Based on your feedback we will determine the workshop language.
