Welcome Event for First Semester Students 2025

For all first-year students who will be starting their studies in Hamm or Lippstadt in the winter semester 2025/26, the central welcome and information event will take place on September 17 at the Westpressarena in Hamm.

Here you will meet your program director as well as the most important contact persons and points of contact at HSHL – from the AStA (student council) to the General Student Counseling to the International Office.

You will get an overview of the university and everything that awaits you on campus during your first few days. At various information stands, you can also get detailed advice on a range of topics, such as opportunities for a semester abroad, the wide range of university sports on offer, and options for financing your studies.

And, of course, a small welcome gift awaits you.

Please note that the event is in German only.

At the backstage information fair, which takes place directly after the welcome behind the stage, you will receive all the information you need in both German and English.
