Optimaler Service für Studierende und Lehrende
Services and offers for students
The Center for Teaching Management supports students throughout their unique educational journey – from initial orientation in the world of academics to enrollment, stays abroad, getting a diploma and launching a career – it's all there. General Student Counseling, the International Office and the Career Service are just some of the many consultation and advisory services offered. The tasks of the Alumni Service are devoted to maintaining contact with graduates and gradually building up a wide range of services for the alumni of Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences.
The bundling of these and other various tasks into one central operating unit is new to the university landscape and underscores the commitment of Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences to offer the best possible service to prospective students, present students and alumni from their higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) to graduation and beyond.
On HSHL’s behalf, the Center for Teaching Management sets its sights on the early stages. By participating in the NRW state-wide talent Scouting grant program at schools it helps young people discover possible career paths with an open mind.
Services and offers for departments and teaching staff
The Center for Teaching Management also supports the departments in the coordination of dual study programs as well as in matters of quality assurance and development, accreditation and evaluation.
The Quality Management staff supports and advises the departments in matters of quality assurance and development. The departments are supported by the QM team, particularly in carrying out accreditations of their degree programs, evaluating courses and in conducting graduate surveys. Furthermore, the QM team coordinates the continual development of a university-wide quality management system and provides process documentation for key interface processes at the university via a central process management system.
The Coordination Center for the Dual Study Programs functions as a central contact and coordination point for questions related to the dual study programs and supports the departments in the administrative organization of collaborations, the establishment of networks with other universities and partner companies and the further development of the cooperative study program at HSHL.
