Your study progress

  • Semesters 1–4: Foundational Phase

    During the first four semesters, you'll lay the foundation for your studies. You'll study mathematics, programming, web technologies, computer architecture, algorithms, and IT security. You'll put your knowledge directly into practice through your own software project.

  • Semester 5: Practical Training Phase

    During your practical semester, you’ll gain valuable professional experience—either at a company in Germany or abroad. In the process, you’ll put your theoretical knowledge into practice, make important connections, and expand your professional network.

  • Semesters 6–7: Specialization Phase

    During the last two semesters, you’ll focus on areas of your choice. A wide range of required electives, exciting project work, and your bachelor’s thesis give you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and prepare specifically for your career.
