The E-Learning Coordination Center provides support and advice on all questions relating to the use of digital teaching at the university.

Who are we?
The E-Learning Coordination Center is a teaching-support service at Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences.

As experts in digital teaching, we provide both online and on-campus support to the teaching staff at our two campuses. The services we offer help to make teaching efficient and up to date.

What do we offer?
We offer practical training courses, personal counseling and informative short lectures on media didactics and e-learning topics aimed at supporting teaching.

Another focus of our work is the development of learning materials as well as the production of videos and versatile multimedia content.

We use modern technology to make high-quality recordings of lectures, thereby enabling the flexible implementation of learning content from any teaching location.

Our "edu-assist" teaching staff portal features numerous resources, tools and up-to-date information.

  • Moodle (Learning Management System)

    Moodle is a widely used learning platform designed to enable educators, administrators and learners to organize courses digitally, provide learning content and promote exchange with students.

  • Panopto

    Panopto is a video content management system that facilitates lecture capture, live streaming and the organization of video content on learning platforms.

  • BBB (BigBlueButton)

    BigBlueButton is an open-source web conferencing system designed specifically for educational use, offering features such as virtual classrooms and interactive tools (whiteboard, polls, etc.).

  • H5P

    H5P is a tool for creating interactive learning content such as quizzes, presentations and videos that can be embedded directly into learning platforms like Moodle.

  • Concept Board

    The Concept Board is a digital whiteboard used for collaboration and brainstorming – ideal for teamwork and interactive workshops.

  • Articulate Storyline

    Articulate Storyline is an e-learning authoring tool that can be used to create multimedia and interactive online courses.

  • f4x

    f4x is used for the automatic and manual transcription and correction of audio and video files. This tool enables spoken content to be quickly and precisely converted into text for qualitative analysis.

  • Camtasia

    Camtasia is a software application for screen recording and video editing suitable for creating tutorials, presentations and educational videos.

  • Adobe Premiere

    Adobe Premiere is a video editing program that provides comprehensive tools for editing, color correction and video post-production.

  • SMART Notebook

    SMART Notebook is an interactive software for creating digital whiteboard content, primarily used in educational settings to present clear and engaging learning materials.

  • ChatGPT

    ChatGPT is an AI-based language model that can naturally answer questions, compose texts and provide context-based support across multiple subject areas.
