Technological developments are accelerating rapidly and companies are confronted with severe competitive pressure. Short development periods and flexible production processes present companies with a particular challenge in times of user-generated products. Consequently, companies invest in innovations in order to be successful on the market. At the same time, technical innovations in particular open up scope for agile, young start-ups with good ideas.
In the "Technical Entrepreneurship and Innovation" master's study program, students are qualified to put first ideas to the test, determine market potentials, prepare a business case, construct and test prototypes, and bring the product to market maturity. They learn about innovation types and processes and become aware of snares.
Interdisciplinary teams and the structure of the study path provide conditions for industry-related working. Courses in English prepare the graduates for the international market. The students can apply the acquired knowledge in product management for innovative products in a large company or for the foundation of their own business. Alternatively, they support effective innovation management throughout the company and thus help to not only further their company but the technological development in Germany.
